Fifty Years of Love  
1973 - 2023

Buongiorno! We are Mary and Larry Downs from Savannah, Georgia. Welcome to our site! We chose Rick Steves "Best of Southern Italy in 13 Days" to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, and it was a dream come true. As avid history buffs, we had seen Rick Steve's program on PBS, and decided that Italy would be the perfect tour for us! 

Soon after we booked our tour trip we began planning. Reading all of Rick's tour tips, making sure our passports were up to date, viewing TSA requirements, and gifting ourselves each a set of Rick's luggage which proved to be a wise decision. We even began attending the gym several times a week to ensure we were in the best physical shape possible for our tour.

Now, enough about us, lets begin our tour!
