Maiori

Day 9

Free day for our group to do whatever they desired. Some went on boat rides to Capri or toured the lemon groves, but we wanted a beach day. Our hotel's lido was a short walk to the sea.We arrived early to get front row seating at the beach, lounged all day and and enjoyed a seaside lunch It was divine. Maiori has the longest beach on the Amalfi Coast and it did not disappoint.

We dined that evening at the recommended Neptune Restaurant located along the seaside. The meal was exceptional and the perfect addition to our day spent in the sun. After dinner, we enjoyed a leisurely walk back to our hotel, watching the ritual "passeggiata" of strolling locals conversing with one another.
