Day 2

Following another delicious breakfast, we walked to meet our guide for an informative and impressive tour of the Capitoline Museum. Opened in 1734, it is considered one of the oldest museums in the word. We then walked along the banks of the Tiber River and toured the Jewish ghetto. Breathtaking views consumed us along every walk through Rome.

Day 2

The remainder of the day was spent on our own so we kept on touring! Our first stop on our walk about town was to the world renowned Spanish Steps where we enjoyed a respite while people watching. From the steps, we continued ambling back towards our hotel window shopping along the way. Exhausted, we enjoyed a local pizza margherita in our room and got some much needed rest.
