Day 11
On our own during the day touring the beautiful shops and taking time to savor "il dolce far niente" - the sweetness of doing nothing.
Very special evening at the villa of Therese and Luigi for an authentic homemade Italian group dinner. It felt like we were in a movie. We all enjoyed multiple dishes carefully prepared in advance onsite. The chilled wine was refreshing. Restaurants are wonderful, but nothing is like a home cooked meal. We learned that it was custom to bring a gift for the host, so we brought a little something from our hometown. Grazie to these special Sorrento natives for thier hospitality.
